One of the problems with uMkhuse Game Reserve is that the number of dead rhinos exceeds the number of births. Despite the budget cuts linked to this poaching crisis, efforts have therefore not diminished.
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, the state agency responsible for the uMkhuze game reserve, is stepping up its patrols on foot and in vehicles, as well as their aerial surveillance.
To support staff morale and improve their living conditions, the camps have been improved and hot meals and showers at good temperatures are now essential.
The Le PAL Nature Foundation provides financial assistance to the Save The Rhino association. You too are helping to save the rhinos by doing a good deed. Every donation counts! So don't hesitate any longer.
