Coexisting with predators
Since its creation in 2007, the Pôle Grands Prédateurs has been working towards better coexistence between large predators (such as wolves, lynxes, and bears) and human activities.
The association supports farmers by implementing practical solutions, such as protection dogs, while providing technical and educational support. It also collects field data, participates in studies, and produces specialized resources to better understand, protect, and rehabilitate these often misunderstood species.
One of the highlights of its work is the festival "Vous avez dit prédateurs ?," a unique event in France dedicated to the discovery and awareness of predators of all kinds (mammals, birds, insects, reptiles, etc.).
Through films, conferences, activities, and exhibitions, the festival highlights the crucial ecological role of these species in their ecosystems and combats the prejudices and fears often associated with these animals.
The Le PAL NATURE FOUNDATION supports this initiative by contributing to its funding.
