A unique race
Organized by ACGF Running, The Pal Run is more than a simple race, a real adventure. The first edition took place on April 14, 2019 then the second, on October 4, 2020.
The race, organized in partnership with Le Pal, allows you to discover this park created in 1973 in a different way, the only one to offer today in France attractions, animals and atypical accommodation on 50 hectares of nature.
On the two courses, 10 km or half marathon, 7 km take place in the park. Entrance to the park is 3 km after the start of the race, located in the bus parking lot.
Once in the park, you pass the zoo kitchen, then cross the amusement park by all its alleys: Twist, King Kong, Flying Chairs, Carousel, passing by The Siberian Tiger, The African Walk, The Boat Pirate or The Conquest of the West, not to mention the impressive Yukon Quad!
A race in the heart of the animal park
After exploring the amusement park, discover the animal park! Cross the sumptuous Forest of the Wolves by the 250m long footbridge which overhangs it, then alligators, wallabies, meerkats, wild dogs, nyalas, ostriches, Chilean flamingos and lynxes. The park's animals will be there to watch you race! The bravest will finish the half-marathon outside the park in the towns of Thiel-sur-Acolin, Dompierre-sur-Besbre and Saint-Pourçain-sur-Besbre.
A solidarity race
Since the 2020 edition, Le PAL Run has confirmed that € 1 will be donated to the LE PAL Nature foundation for each registration. This year, 700 € were donated! A big thank you for this solidarity gesture!
