“Birds in flight” show
*Work is currently underway on the promenade*
There’ll be some new features at the birds of prey promenade!
From 13th April 2019, come and see the wonderful Birds in Flight show in its new guise! for the 2019 season, Le PAL has given the birds of prey promenade a refurb. 26 benches have been installed all along the promenade, with seating for around 500 people (200 more than last year) so as many people as possible will be able to see this amazing show! This new seating means you’ll be more comfortable, better positioned and higher up for watching the show. Lots of seating has been kept in shady areas so spectators will be protected if it gets really hot in summer. And as well as better seating we’ve improved the sound quality! For the 2019 season, Le PAL is installing a new sound system, so you’ll be able to get even more out of the show!
And a bit more info… This means 275 metres of benches, made up of 91 sections put together to form 26 individual benches. These benches are curvy, and end with heads and tails of snakes. Some birds of prey just love snakes, so did we do this on purpose? Maybe...
