Tree Riders

Treeriders, made up of tree enthusiasts, aims to:

• Carry out tree climbing projects without geographical limits, prioritizing collaboration with local stakeholders.

• Share, exchange, and help transmit arboricultural knowledge and observations (ecological, scientific, technical, etc.) with members and external audiences (individuals, associations, public institutions, businesses...) as part of raising awareness for preserving natural spaces.

• Organize or participate in events and activities related directly or indirectly to its objectives.

• Produce, create, and distribute all types of films — short, medium, or feature-length, series, web series — whether fiction, documentary, or animation, across all known media (including electronic, digital, optical, and/or magnetic) or any future unknown formats, for audiovisual dissemination.

• Publish books and guides in print, digital, or any existing or future formats, and distribute through all types of media (books, photos, exhibitions, new technologies...) connected to the association’s activities.

• Disseminate productions for educational, scientific, and social purposes to promote and preserve heritage.

Since 2019, Treeriders has produced numerous videos documenting various gatherings of its members, as well as two medium-length films:

• Schwarzwald Treep: A light and introductory arboricultural trip in the Black Forest.

• À Cordes Perdues: The challenge of a full immersion for five days on steep tree slopes.
